Have you ever wondered why their are so many organized religions? Did god really intend for people to create things like baptists, catholics, and methodists? What makes people feel like their is more than one god?
I most certainly wondered about this subject. I've also asked myself: "Who's going to hell, and who to heaven?"
If everyone's religious book says you have to do this to get to heaven, are we all going if we do these things?
There are different religions because peoples beliefs branched off of others. They didn't like something or a few things about a person's religion so they made a few changes and created a new religion.
One thing that most religions have in common is that there's a top dog. Most of us get that basic concept. I hate it when people say they don't believe in God, but a higher power or being. Wow, at least we religious ones actually have made more sense than you have.
This is a very interesting topic.
some say that christianity is a religion, to me it's a lifestyle. What do you believe?
